I was born & raised in Southport & completed my medical training at Manchester University. I qualified in 1985 & spent the next 2 years working in hospitals in the North West & Jersey. I came to Swindon in 1987 to commence my GP training at PMH. I joined Old Town Surgery as a partner in 1991, 2 weeks before i got married. I have 2 children. Alongside my full time post in General Practice I also work for specialist drug treatment services.

I trained at Guys & St Thomas Hospital London & then at PMH Swindon for my GP training. I also work in the Dermatology Dept at GWH & the Swindon out of hours service.
Before studying medicine I completed a Psychology degree.
My hobbies include Subaqua, swimming & cycling.
